Encinitas Arbor Day 2025 – Saturday, April 5, 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Join the City of Encinitas for a special free Arbor Day celebration at Cardiff Sports Park, 1661 Lake Dive in Encinitas! This year, 50 trees will be planted to enhance the local environment, and you’re invited to be part of the green movement. Gather your family and friends and plant a tree to leave a lasting impact on the community. After the tree planting, enjoy the Arbor Day Expo featuring eco-friendly crafts, educational booths and live music.
Don’t forget to sign up to volunteer at www.encinitasca.gov/ArborDay. It’s a great way to contribute to sustainability and connect with nature!
Encinitas Art Night – Saturday, April 5, 6:00 – 8:00 PM
Celebrate Encinitas’ thriving arts scene at the Encinitas Art Night! This free, annual event will showcase local artists at three main locations: City Hall, Encinitas Community Center, and the Encinitas Library, with additional venues around town connected by a free shuttle service. Experience a night full of captivating art exhibitions, live music, and interactive workshops for all ages. Highlights include live music performances at each venue, artist exhibitions in a variety of mediums, interactive artist talks and demonstrations and art workshops for both adults and children.
It’s a perfect way to spend an evening surrounded by creativity while connecting with local artists. Bring the whole family for a fun, artistic night out!
Taste of Leucadia – Thursday, April 17, 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Indulge in the best flavors of Leucadia at the 12th Annual Taste of Leucadia! From 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, North Coast Highway 101 will come alive with 20+ local restaurants, food vendors, and pop-ups from the Leucadia Farmers Market offering tastings, alongside 15+ beverage samples. Your ticket includes: 20+ food and beverage samples from local eateries, 15+ drinks to sip and savor, 10+ Sip Stops in Leucadia businesses, live music to enjoy as you stroll and free access to the Hop on Hop off Old School Trolley, which takes you up and down the event route.

Spring Egg Hunt Saturday, April 19, 2025

There’s nothing like the excitement of hundreds of kids charging when the Easter bunny says GO! Our Spring Egg Hunt is a cherished Encinitas tradition for over 20 years. The event runs from 10:00 AM to noon and features egg hunts separated on two fields for children under 4 and for ages 5 and up. Adding to the fun are bunny visits, crafts and a live performance from Kathryn the Grape. The Egg Hunt is held at the beautiful Encinitas Community Park, the perfect place to pack a picnic and make a day of it! Admission is free – just bring a basket!
Encinitas Spring Street Fair – April 26-27, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

The Encinitas Spring Street Fair is a must-attend event that marks the arrival of spring in the heart of downtown. Spanning several blocks along historic Highway 101, the fair brings the community together with: Over 450 vendors showcasing local goods, crafts, and food, five live music stages for a lively soundtrack to your shopping and strolling, a beer garden to relax and enjoy the spring sunshine and a kid-friendly area with rides and activities to keep the entire family entertained.
Hosted by the Encinitas 101 MainStreet Association, this free family-friendly event is the perfect opportunity to shop, eat, and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of Encinitas. Whether you’re hunting for unique artisan goods or just enjoying the live performances, there’s something for everyone!
