Our friends at The Encinitas Historical Society operate a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving and interpreting the City’s rich past through its research, library, programs, exhibits and publications. The society is overseen by a dedicated Board and staff of volunteers, whose aim is to serve the community in honoring and preserving the Encinitas heritage. The Encinitas Historical Society offers free, guided and fun educational tours on the 3rd Saturday of every month. The tour is along varied walking paths concentrating on either the north end of historic Coast Highway or the south end.
